(completed March 2001)

The song used in this second video I made, "Boyz In The Hood" by Dynamite Hack is a parody of a song by the same name by rap artist Eazy E. This video was a parody of the situations found within "Akira". Basically I just took a bunch of disjointed scenes and placed them into the different context of this particular song. So, what, that makes this a parody of a parody? lol... Anyway, while "Akira" was centered around a psychic metamorphosis and cultural revolution (and does not seem like Kaneda and pals were a bunch of street thugs excepting the few motorcycle battle sequences), when placed in another context, the anime changes into something completely different - something which I suppose could be a summary of the experiences a motorcycle gang might encounter in their daily life on the backstreets and alleys of Neo-Tokyo.

While I used the radio-edit version of this song, some people may be offended by some of the other lyrics within - it did start from a rap song, remember? So, I'm sorry, but don't download if you are at all uncomfortable with the "thug life".
